Listening to God

Focus creates feelings.
Focusing on God and His promises shapes our feelings and directs our actions. The passages Mark 9 emphasize the importance of maintaining focus and faith, even in the face of challenges.

The imagery in Mark 9 highlights the drastic nature of maintaining focus, cutting off anything that causes distraction from our faith. Exodus 14vs15 underscores the need to be still and trust in God's intervention, even when it seems impossible.
The reminder that sometimes our prayers are answered, but we may not recognize it immediately calls us to stay attuned to God's voice and guidance. Just as Moses was urged to move forward, we, too, should continue in faith, knowing that God is at work.

It's a powerful lesson in trust and perseverance. What are your thoughts or reflections on these passages?
